James Fredrick Spencer, 47, of Peru, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born in Peru on June 14, 1973 to Marshall Spencer and Vickie (Shrock) Clemons. James operated a plasma cutter at Bulldog Battery in Wabash.
He is survived by his parents, Marshall Spencer of Florida, and Vickie (Shrock) Clemons of Peru; his girlfriend Andrea Leazenby; as well as his children: Cynthia Lott of Peru, Max Santiago of Florida, Isabella Spencer of Peru, and Hannah Leazenby of Logansport; and 5 grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Edward Clemons and Jerry Clemons, both of Peru.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Spencer.
Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 1pm. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
