James A. Mellinger

James A. "Sam" Mellinger, 55, of Peru passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Peru, Indiana on March 27, 1965 to James and Barbara (Engel) Mellinger. Sam, as he was more commonly known by, loved listening to music and watching tv. He was also a member of the Denver Baptist Church.

He is survived by Jackie (Bob) Chambers of Denver, Indiana and a nephew Zachary Mellinger.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Mellinger.

As per Sam's wishes there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Denver Baptist Church or Bona Vista.
