James Louis Nye

James Louis Nye, 60, of Kokomo passed away at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

He was born on August 13, 1963 in Peru, Indiana to the late James Lee and Juliana (Sharp) Nye.

James served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He worked at Lehigh Hansen Logistics in Logansport, Indiana.

James enjoyed traveling with his wife, Lauri, fishing, reading, and snorkeling.

He is survived by his wife, children; Sharon Grziwok of Kokomo, Timothy King of Greenfield, Matthew King of Seattle, Matt Robinson of Seattle, Stephen King of Florida, grandchildren; Samuel Grziwok, Joseph Grziwok, Victoria Plyer, and siblings, Bret Nye of Peru, and Melissa Dice of Wabash.

James is preceded in death by his parents.
