Jackie “Jack” Lee Rogers, 68, of Denver, Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Jack was born on September 13, 1957 in Peru, Indiana to Canie Rogers and Agnes (Sizemore) Fouts. In 1977, he married Sherry (Timmons) Rogers, who is also the mother of his three children. Jack was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish and hunt and he also enjoyed working on the farm. He liked classic cars and tractors, listening to music, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Jack loved spending time with his family. His grandkids were his whole world.
He is survived by his children: Jarrod Rogers (Tabitha) of Peru, Indiana, Amber Howell (David) of Bunker Hill, Indiana, and Felicia Sutton of Peru, Indiana; seven grandchildren: Austin, Kelsey, Madison, Dalton, Taylon, Annie, and Athena; and two great grandchildren: Nolan and Maverick. Also surviving are sisters, Lois “Jean” McCoy of Connersville, Indiana, Marcia Rogers of Stanton, Kentucky, and Carrie “Sue” Townsend (Bob) of Peru, Indiana. Jack is also survived by the mother of his children, Sherry Rogers.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Larry Campbell, Sherman Rogers, Banford Rogers, Sherrill Rogers, and sisters: Verlene Rogers, Linda Morecraft, and Brenda Baldwin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. A funeral service will follow at 4:00pm. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
