Harry Thomas “Tom” Sapp Jr., 70, of Peru passed away in Indianapolis on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

He was born in Gary, Indiana to the late Goldie C. (Finch) and Harry Thomas Sapp Sr. on January 28, 1955.

Tom had a heart for all animals – but especially horses. He bred and showed horses for all his life.

Tom is survived by his sister, Pat, brother, Danny, several nieces and nephews, and his little sis, Barb.

He is preceded in death by his lifelong partner, Garry Smolinski, and siblings, Freddie, Theresa, and Jimmy.

In honor of Tom’s wishes there will be no services.
