Gail Allison (Kosanke) Ekstrom

Gail Allison (Kosanke) Ekstrom, 62, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Community Howard Regional Health Hospital in Kokomo, Indiana.

She was born in Hammond, Indiana on January 29, 1960 to Byron and Sally (Hawkins) Kosanke. Gail married Roger Ekstrom on July 1, 1995 and he survives. She was employed at Adler Seed Company and worked as a bookkeeper.

Gail enjoyed playing cards, canning, spending time with her dogs, crocheting, flower gardening, and Holidays, especially Easter. She made the best eggrolls and was quite the prankster.  

She is survived by her parents, husband, sons; Guy (Jennifer) Robertson of Peru, Jacob (Tina) Robertson of Goshen, grandchildren; Ashley, Lilly, Christopher, Megan, Thomas, and Gabriel, sisters; Kelly Petri of Roselawn, Indiana, Penny Kosanke of Peru, and Amy (Jon) Watson of Elkhart, Indiana, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm at Allen Funeral Home, 136 South Elm Street, Bunker Hill, Indiana. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11am with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Burial will take place at Santa Fe Cemetery.
