Erma (Jones) Becraft

Erma Becraft, 84, of Peru, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at her residence.

She was born in Peru on May 15, 1935 to General and Martha (Clemons) Jones.  She married Earl Edward Becraft in 1951.  He preceded her in death on March 10, 2014.  A housewife and mother, Erma enjoyed reading, gardening, and canning.  She lived in Peru all of her life.

She is survived by her children: Gail (Walt) Overly, Charles (Karen) Becraft, Patricia (Randy) Rader, Steven (Lou) Becraft, Brenda (Jerry) Boggs, and Debra (Robert) Hollon, all of Peru; as well as 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are a brother, Bob (Kay) Jones, sisters Ann Helton of New Waverly, and Sue Gibson (companion Arwood) of Peru; and sister-in-law Bonnie Edgerly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons Earl Becraft and Ronnie Becraft, brother Dick Edgerly, brother Bill Edgerly, and brother-in-law Emery Helton.

A private family service will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.  Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
