Emma Jean Hartley

Emma Jean Hartley, 92, Peru Indiana, passed away on February 22, 2012 at 3:52am at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport. She was born August 27, 1919, and was a 1937 graduate of Royal Center High school. She married Marion M. Hartley on October 11, 1942. He preceded her in death (September 11, 1997). She is survived by three sons - Dean (Kay), Logansport, David (Patricia), Peru, and Micheal (Paula), Peru - and two sisters, Maxine Eikelburner (Logansport), and Freida Acheson (St. Mary's, OH). She had five grandchildren - Greg Hartley (Mary), Brian Hartley (Dani), Alexa Hartley, Kendra Hoover (Bill), and Jena Revilla (Adon). She also had seven great-grandchildren - John, Trisha, Gabi, Ali, Adria, Reese, and Hartley. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents (James O. and Catherine [Wolf] Calloway), and a brother (John Calloway). Services are entrusted to Flowers~Leedy Funeral Home. Friends may call on Friday, February 24, from 3:00-7:00pm, and services will be on Saturday, February 25, at 3:00pm, with Pastor Mandie Gould officiating. Burial will be at Eel River Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the New Waverly United Methodist Church.
