Edna Jeanne McClanahan, 86, of Peru, passed away at 7:14pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

She was born on August 13, 1934 in Wilmington, Indiana to William Vetter and Dorothy (Smith) Vetter Spengler. She married James Wesley McClanahan on August 13, 1952, and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2003.

Edna retired from the Civil Service at Grissom Air Force Base. She was a lifetime member of the Moose and WIBC. She was an avid bowler and loved going to lunch with her friends.

She is survived by her daughters Tracey Mullikin (Brian) and Nancy McClanahan(Alex); as well as grandchildren Chelsey Shilling of Chicago, and Wesley Shilling (Erika) of Warsaw; and great-grandchildren Trace James Shilling and Ian Thomas Shilling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter Sandy McClanahan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in southern Indiana. Burial will take place in Moores Hill, Indiana.
