Edna Ann (Biggs) Deardorff

Edna A. Deardorff, 74, of Peru was carried away to the arms of Jesus by His angels.  

Edna was born January 25, 1950 in Peru, Indiana to Ralph A. Biggs and Vennie L. (Goodman) Biggs.  

Edna was a homemaker who loved music, singing, and animals. She chose to live a solitary life. Edna was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

She is survived by her children John Biggs of Peru, Jerry Biggs of Indianapolis, Jeff (Julia) Biggs of Peru, Leigh Anne (Mickey) Ross of Walton and her ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Bishop Mary (Paul) Everding. Also nephews and nieces.  

Edna was preceded in death by her parents and her son Jackie Delp, sister Sharon Glaze and her granddaughter Machala Biggs. 

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. Funeral service follows at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Mary Everding officiating.
