Diana Kay Molden, 77, Peru, passed away on Sunday, October 24th, 2021, at her residence.
Born on December 30th, 1943, in Peru Indiana, she was the daughter of Dr. Emerson G. Caley and Thelma J. Caley. Diana graduated from Bunker Hill High School in 1961. She attended Wright’s Cosmetology School in Logansport, Indiana. After obtaining her cosmetology license, she opened “Diana’s Golden Curl Hair Salon”. She worked as a beautician for many years, then moved on to American Stationary where she later retired. Diana loved the holidays and decorating for them. In her younger years she would host gatherings for family and friends. Christmas was her favorite because she got to be with family who meant the world to her including her granddog Felix.
Diana is survived by her daughter Kristina (Bruce) Willis of Peru, her son Mark Molden of Rochester, her grandson Seth Reyes of Warsaw, her granddaughter Kaleigh Reyes of Toronto, Canada, and her grandson Braxton (Kay) Molden of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert Caley.
Friends and family may call from 1:00pm – 4:00pm on Saturday, November 13th, at Flowers Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third Street, Peru, IN. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
