Delores (Daugherty) Fitzpatrick, 94, of Kokomo, Indiana, moved to Paradise with Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
She was born in Burbank, Ohio on October 12, 1925 to Narola (Luke) Daugherty and Ray Daugherty. She was the owner and accountant of Wholesale Auto Supply in Kokomo.
Delores was a member of Bunker Hill First Baptist Church. Her faith in Jesus Christ was obvious to all who knew her. She lived her life as a servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a full time volunteer at Bacone Indian University in Muskogee, OK, Templed Hills church camp in Livingston, MT, and most recently, Tippecanoe Baptist Camp in North Webster, IN.
She married Junior "JR" Fitzpatrick on November 23, 1950 He preceded her in death on November 6, 2004. Her two sisters, Juanita Romick and Lanora Labant, and her parents also predeceased her.
Delores is lovingly remembered by son Jerry Fitzpatrick and wife Rebecca of Miami, IN; son Dean Fitzpatrick of Leiters Ford, IN; son Daryl Fitzpatrick and wife Kelly of Kokomo, IN; brother Lavon Daugherty of Sugar Creek, OH; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Rev. Richard Olson will officiate a private funeral for the immediate family. After the virus concerns end, there will be a public memorial service. Burial will take place at Springdale Cemetery in Bunker Hill, IN.
