Crystal Joy Kistler

Crystal Joy Kistler, 64, of Peru, Indiana passed away peacefully in her home on April 30, 2023 into the loving arms of Jesus.

Crystal was an amazing and loyal spouse, daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved her family fiercely. Our family is greatly humbled for the love, support, and prayers shared by her loving community of friends and extended families. We were not ready to say goodbye and our loss was greatly unexpected. We will love and miss her everyday. Goodbye’s hurt the most when the story was not finished.

Crystal is survived by her spouse, Robert Kistler, mother, Lona Hoover, 3 children; sons, Ian Durham and Brandon (Bethany) Durocher, daughter, Cheyenna (Christopher) Skinner, brother, Randy Hoover, and sister, Lori (Tracy) Stults, along with 6 grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Zion Chapel Church, 915 South Broadway, Peru, Indiana. The funeral service will follow at 4pm with Pastor Rod Correll officiating.
