Claude Steven McCoy

Claude Steven McCoy, 69, of Peru passed away on December 15, 2017.

Mac, Papa, Steven... a man has many names in life. Father-in-law, son, dad, grandfather, husband, and friend, just to name a few that you harbored. It is a sad moment in our hearts knowing that you are now waiting on us... that we won’t see you again until He calls us home. But when He does, we will go to that house on the hill with trees that touch the sky, and clouds that perfectly surround the sun. We know that it’s all His plan, and we will help and keep favor with all you loved, and speak well and loud for you in our thoughts and prayers until we meet again.

Steve was born on April 3, 1948 in Kentucky to Claude and Geneva McCoy. Steve worked as a wireman at Bryan Steam.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (McQuinn) McCoy, as well as their sons Scott (Angel) McCoy and Steven Jr. (Vicky) McCoy. Also, grandchildren and great-grandchildren Bryan, Kayla, Clay, Hayden, and Olyander McCoy; Lori, Jerry Jr., Cody, Chance, Cheyenne, Bub Hiles, and Britney Brown. Also, brothers Stan (Terry) McCoy and Stew (Joan) McCoy. He was preceded in death by his parents Geneva and Claude, and his daughter Teresa McCoy.

Visitation will be held from 2pm - 6pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the funeral home, with Pastor Bud Sparks officiating. Burial will take place a Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
