Charlotte Ann Stuber passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 7, 2026 surrounded by love, leaving behind a family who will forever cherish her memory.
She was born in Peru, Indiana on July 7, 1939 to the late Chester E. and Leanna (Beal) Worl. Charlotte married Charles E. Stuber and he preceded her in death in 2000.
Charlotte worked as a secretary at Syndicate Sales.
She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. Her grandson, Jeremy, was the light of her life, and she showed her love through countless home-cooked meals and the care she gave so freely. Even toward the end of her time, her thoughts were still of him, and she wished to make him one more meal — his potato and eggs — a simple but powerful reflection of her enduring love.
She also treasured the time she spent with her great-grandchildren, Paisleigh, Everleigh, Jayce, Gavin, and Ashlynn. Watching them grow and sharing time with them brought her immense happiness, and her love for them was evident in every moment they spent together.
Charlotte had a warm and friendly spirit and never met a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with friends, especially shopping for new yarn, which fueled her lifelong love of crocheting. She could often be found with yarn in hand, creating scarves and blankets—each one made with patience, care, and love for the person who would receive it.
Her kindness, generosity, and gentle nature will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so dearly, the friendships she nurtured, and the handmade gifts that continue to provide warmth and comfort.
Charlotte Ann Stuber leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever. She will remain in our hearts always.
She is survived by her daughter, Darla Stone, grandchildren, Jeremy (Terrie) Loger, Chelsea Loger, Shannon Loger, Deandra Stone, Bethanie (Bryan) Coogler, Justin(Trina) Guffey, Daylan (Jennifer) Guffey, and 15 great grandchildren, siblings, Bonnie (Mike) Caudill and Rose Jane Robins, nephews, Roger Robins, Randy (Laurie) Robins, and a niece, Rhonda Gibson.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jim Hoover, and daughter Cara Giffin.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm at Rankin Cemetery in Miami County on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
