Brian Joseph Brown

Brian Joseph Brown, 46, of Peru passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Peru, he was born on January 4, 1980.

Brian faithfully attended Abundant Life Church in Peru. He loved to fish and camp. Brian was an avid gamer.

He is survived by his loving mother, Josephine Kelch of Peru, sister, Tonya (John) Bailey of Jackson Center, Ohio, brothers, James (Jenny) Brown of Peru, Jeremy Brown of Peru, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Brian is also survived by his special cousin, Randy See, and special friends, Gracie Nice and Gloria Luke of Peru and Randy Rhineburger of Kentucky.

Brian is preceded in death by his father, David Kelch and brother, Jason Brown.

Visitation will be held from 4pm to 6pm on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will follow at 6pm with Pastor Dustin Smith officiating. Burial will take place at Reyburn Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
