Brett Sanders

Brett Sanders, 59, of Peru, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

He was born to James A. Sanders and Lula B. Sanders on May 11, 1965 in Peru, Indiana. He graduated from Peru High School in 1983.

Brett was a construction worker by trade when he lived here in Peru.

He later moved to Cicero, Indiana where he worked in construction with the Holt Construction Group of Indianapolis.

He worked as an estimator for a number of years. Then went into business for himself under Sanders Construction. He later retired and moved back to Peru and resided at his father’s home.

Brett loved the outdoors. His favorite pastime was fishing as well as hunting, trapping, and camping.

He was always fishing in tournaments somewhere. He was a great outdoorsman.

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Peru, Indiana.

Brett had many friends, he was a good guy!

He’s with the Lord in great peace and harmony!

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Lula B. Sanders, and his brother, Howard Green, both of Peru, Indiana.

He is survived by his children, Cheyenne Sanders and Christopher Sanders, both living in Indianapolis, Indiana, his father, James A. Sanders of Peru, a brother, Bart Sanders of Peru; in addition to, 5 nieces, 2 nephews, 19 great nieces & nephews, and 2 great-great nieces.
