Bradley "Brad" Lee Haines

Bradley “Brad” Lee Haines, 68, of Peru, Indiana passed away with his wife, Susan, by his side on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana

He was born on February 6, 1957 in Peru, Indiana to Claude Garth Haines and Mary K. (Kotterman) Haines. Brad was a 1975 graduate of North Miami High School. He was employed at Norfolk Southern for 30 years as a railroad engineer. Brad enjoyed fishing with family and friends; he especially enjoyed the many fishing trips to Canada with his parents. He also liked riding his motorcycle on a beautiful summer evening. In 2002, Brad married Susan (Day) Haines.

Brad is survived by his wife Susan; their child, Carrie Jo Haines of Peru, Indiana; his mother, Mary K. Haines of Wabash, Indiana; his sisters, Debra Haines of Wabash, Indiana and Elise (Randy) Kelly of Wabash, Indiana; brother-in-law, Alan (Denise) Day of Peru, Indiana; sister’s-in-law Marilyn (Terry) Stuckwish of Winona Lake in Warsaw, Indiana and Barbara Foust of Granger, Indiana. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and his Aunt Genny Beattie.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Claude Haines.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
