Betty Jean (Colglazier) Reavis

Betty Jean Reavis, age 96, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 11:40pm. She passed away peacefully at The Waters of Peru.

She was born May 1, 1930 to Lula J. (Herst) Colglazier and Elmer Colglazier who preceded her in death. She married Arthur Lee Reavis in 1954 who also preceded her in death.

Surviving is one daughter, Brenda Helton of Peru, one granddaughter, Tamuala J. Hyden, 3 great grandchildren, also friends: Michael Smith, Sandy Miller, and Rhonda Ousley.

Betty loved dancing with her husband, she enjoyed reading and listening to music. She was also loved by her pets. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and loved spending time with her daughter. She also loved her friend, Rhonda Ousley. She will be loved and missed dearly.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 2:00pm at Mount Hope Cemetery, 411 North Grant Street, Peru, Indiana. All friends are welcome.
