Betty L. Gentry, 63, of Denver, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born in Peru on May 7, 1957 to Jim and Eileen (Madden) Browning. She married Terry Gentry on November 3, 1977, and he survives. Betty enjoyed arts and crafts, and she sold jewelry. She was also a member of the Old Crossroad Baptist Church in Gilead.
She is survived by her husband, as well as their children, Erin (Doug) Gray of Winchester, IN, and Levi Gentry of Denver; as well as grandchildren Rodney Shaver, Kaleb Gray, Katie Gray, Dane Gentry, and Lilly Gentry. Also surviving are brother Marty (Melody) Browning of Denver, and Peggy (Ralph) McQuinn of Macy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 4pm - 6:30pm on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. A memorial service will follow at 6:30pm with Pastor Thad Stewart officiating. Burial will take place at 11am on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Browning Cemetery in Harlan, KY, with Pastor Don Browning officiating.
