Beatrice Kay (Durham) Sparks

Beatrice Kay Sparks, 66, of Wabash (formerly of Peru), passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Parkview Hospital in Wabash.

She was born in Peru on June 3, 1955 to Fred S. and Margaret May (Landis) Durham.  She had several jobs throughout the years, but had most recently worked as a maintenance person at Bona Vista.

She is survived by her daughter, Candy Strode of Peru; brother Dale Durham (wife Son) of Kokomo, and sister Frieda Epport of Fort Wayne.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 11am - 1pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.  Funeral service will follow at 1pm, and burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
