Alberta H. Roberts

Alberta was born at home in rural Miami County. She was born to Kenneth and Helen Douglass on June 7, 1948. She was a retired home health care worker. She enjoyed making quilts, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds, squirrels and other wildlife in her front yard.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Clinton Douglass, James Douglass, Melvin Douglass and Marvin Douglass. Surviving siblings are Gladys Sampson, Diana Householder, Larry Douglass and Colleen Opp. Along with many, many beloved nephews and nieces.

Alberta has two sons, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Sons, Ron Roberts (Kris) and Tracey Roberts. Ron has two children Jessica Haiflich and Tyler Morris and five grandchildren Braxton, Jaxson, Marley, Wyatt and Emersyn. Tracey has 1 child, Andrew Roberts and 2 grandchildren Noah and Novaleigh. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8th from 12pm-2pm at Allen Funeral Home, 136 South Elm Street in Bunker Hill, IN. Graveside services will follow at Santa Fe Cemetery, with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
