Albert Eugene Hendrix passed away at 4:00 AM on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
Albert was born on June 28, 1936 in Howard County, Indiana. One of his greatest hobbies was collecting hats. Albert retired from Square D. Music and farming were his life.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Hendrix, children; Ricky (Peggy) Hendrix of Peru, Indiana, Geno (Greg) Hendrix of Wisconsin, James (Cindy) Hendrix of Arizona, grandchildren; Terry E. Hendrix, Jacob D. Hendrix, Justin S. Friend, Billy R. (Yolanda) Friend, Michael Hendrix, Beth Ann Hendrix, and two sisters, Doris Regan of Logansport and Nancy Rentschler of Missouri.
He was proceded in death by his parents, Albert M. and Edith M. Hendrix, one son, Danny L. Hendrix, one daughter, Kathy L. Blakely, and one brother, George E. Hendrix.
Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 10am to 12pm. The funeral service will follow at 12pm. Internment will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
