William Kyle (Bill) McQueen

William Kyle “Bill” McQueen, 63, of Peru passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born in Stony Fork, Kentucky on November 1, 1955 to Jesse McQueen and Ponda (Hillman) McQueen Bush.  On November 22, 1974, he married Nancy (Phillips) McQueen.  She survives.  Bill retired from the Peru Street Department as Superintendent after 45 years, and he enjoyed classic cars.

Bill is survived by his wife, and a sister Cindy (Bush) Mongosa of Peru.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons Billy McQueen and Earl McQueen, his brothers David Allen McQueen, James McQueen and Marion Bush, and his sister Martha Chyvadoni.

Visitation will be held from 5pm – 7pm on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.  Funeral service will follow at 7pm, with Pastor Lew McKinney officiating.
