Teddy O. Snyder, 69, passed away peacefully at home along the Wabash River on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 5:57am.
Ted was born on July 14, 1949 to Arthur and Vera Cunningham Snyder. He married Deb Jaeger on October 18, 1997. Ted retired from Square D in 2014, where he was a maintenance man (and passed out candy) after 45 years of service. He also owned Ted’s Tackle, as well as Deb’s Diner. He was almost always happy, had a listening ear, and loved joking with his grandkids. He is already deeply missed.
Ted is survived by his wife Deb, and his children: Jennie Stuber (Shawn), Jessie Ewing (Steve), Michelle Douglass (Aaron), and Steven Adair (Hannah); and grandchildren: Abbi, Sidney (Jake), Austin, Siera, Hannah, Jakob, Mason, Gunner, Sydney, and Kelly. Also surviving is one brother Steve Snyder (Barb) and Louann Prokop (Randy) of Peru.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Zachary Stuber.
Visitation will be held from 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 7pm, with Chaplin David Saylors officiating.
