Sharon Sue (Hudson) Plothow

Sharon Sue (Hudson) Plothow, 77, of Peru, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Plothow; son Chad (Anna-Marie Walsh) Plothow; brother Terry (Bonnie) Hudson; brother/cousin Mike (Phyllis) Ergo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; child Jason Plothow; and Aunt Jo (John) Ergo.

Sue was born on June 8, 1942 in Peru, Indiana to Woodrow and Dorothy (Morris) Hudson. She attended Holman Elementary School, Peru Junior High School and Peru High School, graduating in 1960. She attended radiology/x-ray school at Elkhart General Hospital and worked as a Registered X-Ray Technician for many years at Family Physicians in Wabash before retiring in 2006.

She met Jerry at The Car Hop on West Main Street in Peru in 1964. They got married at First Baptist Church of Peru on October 2nd, 1965. Chad was born in April 1971 and Jason was born in October 1972.

Sue was a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron with her father at Ruth Chapter 120, in Peru, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 3pm - 7pm on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.  Funeral service will follow at 7pm, with Pastor Phil Cruea officiating.

She will be dearly missed by the many who were blessed to know her. Please share condolences by signing the guestbook.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
