Our loving father went to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2019. He loved to help people, never met a stranger, and would do whatever he could for you. He always had a story to tell!
He was born on July 14, 1935 in Walton, Indiana to Clarence “Ray” & Lucille (Gibson) Wildrick. He was married to Dolores J. Bunnell on August 9, 1953. He loved to go fishing with his son, Tim. He worked as a railroader for over 23 years on the Nickle Plate Railroad. Later in life, he was always working on someone’s car or lawnmower. He enjoyed cooking for various church events. He was a man who could never sit still.
He is survived by his wife Dolores, his children: Tim (Gale) Wildrick of Peru, Indiana, Kim (Jack) Harmon of Brazil, Indiana, and David (Dolores) Wildrick of Jacksonville, Florida; as well as 3 granddaughters, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving in one brother Jim Wildrick of Monticello, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bert Wildrick , and his son Jeffery Lynn Wildrick.
Visitation will be held from 3pm -7pm on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 1, 2019 with Pastor Randy Shinolt officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peru Bass Masters.
