Nurnie L. (White) Kiefer

Nurnie L. Kiefer, 86, of Peru passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Peru.

She was born on January 10, 1932 in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee to David and Okle (Cadle) White.  She married Shelby Irvin, and later married Joseph Kiefer.  She retired as a press operator at Essex Wire.

She is survived by her grandchildren: David (Angela) Irvin Jr., Roger (Laney) Irvin Jr., William (Allison) Irvin, and Matthew (Kayla) Irvin.  Also, great-grandchildren: Tyler, Aaron (Chasity), Micah, Noah, Levi, Maddie, Griffin, Zoe, Daliyah, Piper, Dominic, and Gunner; and great-great-grandchild Savannah Irvin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her children David Mike Irvin Sr. and Roger Dale Irvin Sr., and siblings Rufus, Dottie, Elsie, and Jenivah.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 388 West 7th Street, Peru, Indiana, with Pastor Bryan Maggart officiating.
