Nancy "Pat" (Moses) Young

Pat Young passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL at the age of 90.

She was born to Alonzo and Gladys Moses in Thurmond, WV.  Pat graduated from Mt. Hope High School and Huntington Beauty School.  She owned and operated the Chateau Beauty Salon in Peru.  She was a member of and Sunday school teacher at Main St. United Methodist Church.  Pat also was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.  She enjoyed golf, traveling, crossword puzzles, and watching her grandkids play sports.

Pat is survived by her husband Jack Young of Peru, her sons Dr. Michael Young and his wife Donna of Clayton GA, and Dr. Gary Young and his wife Kathy of Oklahoma City, OK.  She had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 22, 2019 from 11am to 12:30pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.  A memorial service will follow.  Burial will take place after the service at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
