Marcial R. Flores, 88, of Bunker Hill, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Blair Ridge Health Campus.
He was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on October 16, 1930 to Marcial and Maria (Ramirez) Flores. He married Dolores Valdes, and she preceded him in death in 1973. He later married Nancy (Fuller) Ramirez in 1974, and she survives.
Marcial retired as a lead machine mechanic from Red Gold. A hard worker, he loved mowing, feeding the birds, gardening, and tinkering in the garage.
He is survived by his wife, as well as his children: Maria Valdes of Marble Falls, TX, Marcial (Terrea) Flores of Kokomo, Jaqueline (Hans) Spikerman of Bunker Hill, Laura Flores of Berne, IN, and Angela (Chris) Sprunger of Fort Wayne. Also surviving are two step daughters Debra Stovell of Sonoma, CA and Cynthia Keith of Bunker Hill; in addition to, 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Diego, and a grandson Michael Tressler.
Visitation will be held from 12pm – 2pm on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Allen Funeral Home, 136 South Elm Street, Bunker Hill, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Steve Sherwood officiating. Burial will take place at the Springdale Cemetery, Bunker Hill, Indiana.
