Harold Stapleton

 Harold Stapleton, 70,  of Peru, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne , Indiana.

He is survived by his girlfriend Monica Shupert.  Also, his children: Steve (Denise) Ostafin of Twelve Mile, IN, Melissa (Danny) Clifton Jr. of Lagro, IN, and Heather (Nicholas) Stapleton of Peru, IN.  Also, his grandchildren: Erin Bales, Stephanie Ostafin, Steven Ostafin, Zane Stapleton of Peru, IN, Kain Starkey of Fort Wayne, IN, Jamez Shupperd, Skyla Shupperd, and his little buddy Johnny, all of Peru, IN.  Also his brothers: Rick (Carol) Stapleton of Lexington, KY, and Micky (Debbie) Stapleton of Harrodsburg, KY.  He is also survived by his favorite nurse, Trista Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold (Maxie ) Stapleton of Harrodsburg, KY and Lois Lowe of Baxter, TN.

Visitation will be held from 4pm – 6pm on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.  Military service will follow at 6pm, with service provide Miami County Military Rites Team.
