Emma L. (Patterson) Lennon

Emma L. Lennon, 100, of Peru passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018.

She was born in Peru on November 8, 1917 to Russell and Mary (Butzin) Patterson. A homemaker, she married Paul E. Lennon on November 11, 1934. He preceded her in death.

Emma is survived by her children, James Lennon (wife Beverly) of Orange Beach, AL, and Linda Salmon (husband Saul) of Visalia, CA. Also surviving are grandchildren Rhonda (Larry) Opp, Ronald Lennon, Randy (Sherry) Lennon, Rick (Hilda) Lennon, Tina Pena, Saul Salmon, Cory (Kirsten) Salmon, and Serafin Salmon. Also, 15 great-grandchildren plus 4 step-great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-granchildren plus 8 step-great-great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brother’s Norman Patterson and Ray Patterson, both of Peru.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Henry "Bud" Patterson, brother James Patterson, sister’s, Thene Chandler and Mary Lennon, and a grandson Rodney Lennon.

Visitation will be held from 11am - 2pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor Richard Olson officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
