Donald E. Lowe

Donald E. Lowe, 89, of Peru went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2018 at Wellbrooke of Wabash in Wabash, Indiana.

He was born September 19, 1929 to Guy and Alma (Yoder) Lowe in Bunker Hill, Indiana.  Donald was preceded in death by brothers Delbert and Russell Lowe and a sister Isabelle.

Donald married Beverly “Juanita” Likens and she preceded him in death in July 1995. Later Donald married Sally (Cox) Lowe on September 19, 1996 and she survives.  Donald was preceded in death by a son, Guy Lowe.  He is survived by daughters Tracy Marek of Peru, Indiana, and Cindy (Alex) Castro of Roann, Indiana, and also a son Shane (Cheryl) Lowe of Miami County, Indiana. Also surviving are 2 step-sons, Brad Dirrim of Cass County, Indiana and Tom Garber of Arizona.

Donald was retired from Haines International as a Journeyman/Welder.  He was a member of the Denver Baptist Church and a member of the Denver Lions Club.

Donald is also survived by a brother Carl (Sadonna) Lowe of Kokomo, Indiana and sisters Dorothy, Martha (Earl) “Junior” Mohler, and Betty Finster all of Bunker Hill, Indiana .  He was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Ralph Finster.

Donald has six grandchildren: Daniel Lowe, Jamie Adkins, Frank Marek Jr., Alex Castro Jr., Andy Castro, and David Castro. He also has 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

There will be a graveside service Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Westlawn Cemetery in Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Jerry Long officiating.
