Carl Lowe

Carl Lowe, 84, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital of Kokomo.

He was born in Miami County, Indiana on March 12, 1935 to the late Guy and Alma (Yoder) Lowe. On September 13, 1980, he married Sadona (McFadden) Lowe.

Carl graduated from Bunker Hill High School in 1953. He was a member of the Peru Ringmasters for 25 years. He also coached Little League Baseball. After 20 years of service, Carl retired from Delco/ GM as an electrician. He was a member of the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church.

Carl loved the outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, and mushroom hunting. He loved watching the Red Sox, Cubs, Pacers, and IU and Purdue sports. He always had something clever to say with a humorous touch.

Carl is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sadona Lowe; children, Dale Lowe, Julie Lowe, Cassandra (Jamie) Knolinski, and Michele (Arne) Pedersen; grandchildren, Grace Ellen Knolinski, Jyllian Knolinski , Faith Pedersen, Kris Hiers, and Stephanie Buck. He is also survived by his sisters, Betty Finster, Dorothy Finster, and Martha (Earl Jr.) Mohler.

Carl was preceded in death by his son, Carl Wayne Lowe and a daughter, Lisa (Lesher) VanVlerah; a sister, Isabel Kaufman; three brothers, Delbert Lowe, Russell Lowe, and Donald Lowe.

Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Allen Funeral Home, 136 South Elm Street, Bunker Hill, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 12pm, with Pastor Ben Schlegel officiating. Burial will take place at Rankin Cemetery, Miami County, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church children's playground .
