Addaline (Helm) Gawl

Addaline Gawl, 98, of Peru, passed away at 7:25am on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for 15 years.

She was born in Peru on January 8, 1921 to Roy and Edna (Mullet) Helm.  She married Leo Gawl, and he preceded her in death.

Addaline was a faithful servant and member of the Oakdale Baptist Church for many, many years.  She had many friends and loved ones at the church.

Visitation will be held from 10am – 11am on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Oakdale Baptist Church, 348 Chili Avenue, Peru, Indiana.  Funeral service will follow at 11am, with Dr. Robert Stuck officiating.  Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.  Memorials may be made to the Oakdale Baptist Church.
